Abstract:Molybdenumcanbeselectivelyextractedfrommetalliferousblackshalesinthehydrometallurgicalprocessusingairasoxidant.Bytheprocess,nickelkeepsinresidue.Theresidueistreatedbyoxidativeleachinginsulfuricacidsolutionforextractionofnickel.Theeffectsofexperimentalconditionswereinvestigated,suchasagitationspeed,concentrationofsulphuricacid,liquid-solidratio,theamountofoxidant,temperatureandleachingtime.Theresultsshowthatagitationspeedandliquid-solidratioaffectnickelrecoverylittle,whilelongenoughleachingtime,highenoughtemperatureandconcentrationofsulphuricacidarenecessary.Evenifoxidantreagentisnotaddedtoleachingsolution,mostpartofnickelexistingashydroxidecanbeleachedthroughsimpleacid-dissolution.Otherpartsthatexistassulfidecanonlybeleachedunderoxidativecondition.Theoptimumparametersareasfollows:agitationspeedis500r/min,concentrationofsulphuricacidis,liquid-solidratiois4 1,theamountofoxidantistimesoftheore,temperatureis90℃andleachingtimeis8h.Undertheaboveexperimentalconditions,therecoveryofnickelcanreachabout95%.
